Over Shiseido

Shiseido: Pioneers of Japanese Beauty

Herkomst: Japan

Founded in Japan, Shiseido has grown into one of the country’s defining beauty houses, with a catalogue that spans makeup, cosmetics, sunscreen, and fragrances. Its assortment reflects a broad, technically driven approach to beauty, rooted in Japanese skincare traditions and precision formulation.

Across its lines, Shiseido is known for balancing performance with refined textures and considered design. The brand’s grounded hero product is Ultimune Power Infusing Serum, a signature expression of its skincare expertise and one of the most prominent names on its official site. In makeup, the catalogue also shows strength in foundations, lipsticks, powders, and eye products, supported by established ranges such as Benefiance, Bio-Performance, and Vital Perfection.

Shiseido matters because it represents the long arc of Japanese beauty innovation: disciplined, research-led, and category-spanning. From skincare and suncare to makeup, the brand continues to define a modern J-Beauty standard with authority and consistency.
