Over Maybelline

Maybelline: Pioneers of Accessible Makeup

Herkomst: United States

Maybelline New York is a United States beauty brand whose catalogue on Ellie Jules is focused on makeup, supported by a small nail colour selection and a lash and brow treatment. Its official site positions the brand around modern makeup essentials, with an emphasis on complexion, eyes, lips, and brows for everyday use.

The brand’s philosophy is rooted in broad-range, practical colour cosmetics rather than niche artistry. In the assortment, that shows up through core categories such as foundation, mascara, lip colour, and brow products, alongside lines like Fit Me, SuperStay, Color Sensational, and Colossal. Among these, Fit Me Foundation stands out as a defining staple, reflecting Maybelline’s focus on wearable textures and accessible shade-led makeup.

Maybelline matters because it has become a reference point for mass-market makeup with a strong product architecture and wide consumer reach. Its position in the category is clear: dependable, category-spanning cosmetics shaped for daily wear and consistent performance, with New York as the brand’s enduring style reference.
